Doctor Who story, part two of The Romanadvoretrelundar Trilogy by DJ Tyrer. Opens with The Doctor reading Doorways of Disappearance by Ken Longman, whom he will shortly meet in person. In addition, the story features appearances by Sapphire, Cassandra Leighton and Laxt, as well as the music of Ray Ianotte and an unnamed cameo for Alban. Much of the story takes place in the fictional Welsh village of Llanymeirw and features an appearance by alien black dogs. Includes a passing mention of the Immortals' Repose. The final words of Laxt to Romana are: "An end grows near".
The events at Llanymeirw are played out in another timeline in The Hounds of Lust.
